Landscape photography is one of my photographic passions. As you can only photograph flat landscapes in the Lower Rhine region, often with overcast skies, I am also drawn to other countries for special landscape photos.
This photo was taken in the photographically popular Antelope Slot Canyon in the USA. Every day, around 2,000 people push their way through a 20 metre-high washed-out sandstone canyon that narrows towards the top. The result is wonderful shapes and colours created by the sun at midday. In addition, there are moments when focussed rays of light are cast onto the walls or the ground.

Zweitens wäre da noch ein nagelneues Buch für Fotografen, welches ich auf der Photokina 2012 entdeckt habe. Das besondere an dem Buch „Naturfotografie“ von den Autoren und Fotografen Dr. Kyra Sänger & Dr. Christian Sänger ist, daß alle Fotografien von den beiden Autoren stammen und nichts hinzugekauft wurde. Ich habe auf der Photokina das Buch überflogen und fand es wunderbar.
