I teach 1:1 photo courses out of conviction, i.e. individual photo courses with a maximum of two participants. Whenever friends, partners or relatives share a hobby, then a course for two also makes sense. Provided that both participants have a similar level of knowledge.
Otherwise the Advantage of my personalised photo course is obvious:
Who in the Individual lessons who learns, learns more intensive and get all the answers to your own questions. No matter what genre of photography you like, as an experienced photo trainer and professional photographer I can provide you with valuable tips and tricks. You will learn exactly what you need in terms of advanced know-how in order to take better photos.

The Fujifilm photography course includes my detailed and personalised Advice on photographic equipment. If you wish, I can explain which lenses are best for you, which system flashes you can choose from and which tripod is right for you. During the course, you can take photos with different lenses, expose your images on your memory cards and review them on your monitor afterwards.
In addition, as a participant in the Photo gallery and show and discuss your pictures on the website *fotowissen.eu. There, photography students from the Roskothen School of Photography and comment on them constructively. You can learn a lot in this friendly environment.
You will also be invited to annual Group excursions invited. Occasionally, I organise excursions with up to 10 people on a special theme. The excursions are great fun and anyone who wants to can take part.

Hello Peter,
In many ways the Fuji seemed much more cumbersome than the Nikon I used before.
After the one-to-one coaching with you, I am totally thrilled about how easy it can be when the settings are right.
Only now have I learnt to appreciate the advantages of my camera.
My Fujianese existence has received a significant motivation boost.
Many topics were addressed and my questions were answered in detail. What's more, they were very friendly and competent.
Learning on a 1:1 basis helped me more than in a course with several participants.
The time flew by, it was great fun and I gained a lot of valuable knowledge.
At first, the long journey seemed very time-consuming, but the extremely positive experience was more than worth the effort.
I will certainly make my way to the Lower Rhine again.
Thank you so much for this wonderful morning.
Best regards,
Beate M.
Your article about third-party lenses inspired me a lot. As I still have an old Praktica with a 50 mm 2.8 lens here, I immediately had to buy an adapter and test the lens. I bought a new (old) 50 mm 1.8 and a 135 mm for 90 euros at an auction and am looking forward to new adventures. Thanks for the tip!
Hello Mr Roskothen,
Thank you very much for the relaxed, very informative and extremely enjoyable one-to-one couch.
I found it very good that you responded to the questions I had prepared to my satisfaction and even gave me some useful tips for my hobby photography. The short practical exercises also illustrated the theoretical approaches once again, in which you could immediately see the effects of the changed settings.
I look forward to applying what I have learnt in practice.
The report about the visit to Leica made my eyes water: I used to own a Leica R4 and after getting an insurance payout, I bought two R8 bodies. One for colour slides and the other for black and white slide film. Despite all my enthusiasm for Leica, I've since moved on to the Fuji XT3, because Leica missed the boat on digital photography and today's equipment is no longer affordable for me. But - as you can see - the enthusiasm for this brand is still there.
With best regards

Hello Mr Roskothen, I am delighted with your articles in fotowissen. I have bought a FUX/NIK adapter from Novoflex and can now use 6 of my good old Nikon lenses (made of metal) and the first pictures have been taken satisfactorily. I have switched to Fuji currently 3 pieces. I always look forward to the new contributions on Sundays, thank you very much. With kind regards. Hans Reif.
