The nature photography & macro photography workshop took us to the Botanical Gardens in Krefeld. The Roskothen School of Photography had invited to the photo excursion. The video shows how beginner photographers and amateur photographers with the help of trainer and professional photographer Peter Roskothen.

All the participants really enjoyed the photography in the group and helped each other by exchanging ideas on many photographic questions. I, Peter Roskothen, organised the photo workshop as a trainer and helped the photographers with tips and answers to the numerous questions.
Each participant was able to send in two photos taken on the wonderful day in Krefeld. It turned out that each amateur photographer had a very different view of some of the same motifs. Christian photographed the trees from a supine position, while Günter gave the scene a sense of depth and light. Gerd played with the light, which flashed through the leaves. Markus photographed the tree with a flash and I also had a completely different perspective.
The photographers exchanged ideas, lenses and experimented with macro lenses or a Lensbaby, which the Photo school provided. The result was beautiful photos from the fields of nature photography, macro photography and, to my surprise, portrait photography.
